Pre-Birthday Weekend With My Love

Hi all,
I know, it's been quite some time... but I have been SOOOOO busy... which is really good.

So since last time, I worked a lot, got drunk at Vivi and Pierrot's and I went to NY for a long weekend to see my sweetheart.
Oh and I also changed my hair-color :P

Let's speak about this great weekend we had together... I left to New York on Thursday night, no delay this time, at least not for me:P. We drove back to Beacon and... well no need to describe the rest ;)

Friday, we went to Ikea and Cotsco, bought some furnitures for his room and all the food and drinks for the party on Friday night. We came back to the apartment around 3.30pm and put up the furnitures, cleaned his room and prepared the party.
Then we had the apartment warming party with friends who came from NYC, NY upstate... we had a great time and way too much food!!!
We played on the Wii until 3.30am... I was exhausted!!!

Saturday, we took the train down to NYC with JP and went to the Nevada Smith's to watch the soccer game, it felt good to come back to this bar, I love the "ambiance". Marseille won and got the 2nd position which qualifies them to play the Champion's League next year with Lyon :P
After the game, we went to the movies and saw Spiderman 3, I know someone who was really relieved :P
Then, we went to our favorite restaurant: John's and had a great pizza.

Sunday, we took the car and went to the Woodbury Outlet (I drove :D) I bought my honey all his presents for his upcoming birthday and of course, I did some shopping for me :D
Then we drove to Montclair to visit the Laks family. The kids grew up a lot, they are so cute and I was really happy to see them. We had dinner at Tony's (where else could we go!!!) and then my love and I drove back up to Beacon for our last night together... time goes so fast when we are together...

Monday, we left to the airport at 2pm, my flight was at 5.25pm. My Choupinou left me at the gate at 4.30pm... this was already the end of our weekend...
Of course my flight was delayed so we left from Newark at 7pm, time I was supposed to get in Toronto... but...what can you do, these things happen :(.

I had a wonderful weekend, unfortunately the weather was not very good and we couldn't walk around the city that much... and we also didn't have that much time... so the NY pictures will be for next time, in June :P

Coucou tout le monde,
Je sais, ça fait un petit moment que je n'ai pas écrit... j'ai rompu la routine... my bad, j'ai été bien prise par le taff et autres...

Donc, depuis ce fameux weekend aux Iles, il s'est passé que je suis gavée de taff (ce qui est très bien), j'ai pris une bonne ptite cuite chez Vivi et Pierrot et je suis allée à NYC ce weekend pour quelques jours avec mon chéri :)
Ah et j'ai aussi changé de couleur de cheveux :P

Allez trève de blabla, parlons de ce merveilleux weekend avec mon Choupinou. J'ai pris l'avion Jeudi soir, pas de retard cette fois-ci (enfin pas pour moi :P). Nous avons pris la route pour Beacon... et puis ba on a rattrapé le temps perdu ;)

Vendredi matin, nous sommes descendus à Ikea puis à Costco. Nous avons trouvé un joli petit meuble pour sa chambre pour ranger ses vêtements et avons fait les courses pour la Crémaillère du soir. Puis nous sommes remontés sur Beacon et avons monté le meuble, fait le tri des vêtements, rangé et bien sûr préparer les festivités ;)
Les invités ont commencé à arriver vers 20h, certains venaient de NYC, d'autres des environs. La soirée s'est très bien passé et nous n'avons pas manqué de nourriture!!!
Nous avons joué à la Wii jusqu'à 3h30 du mat', j'étais bien exténuée de cette journée!

Samedi, nous avons pris le train pour NYC avec JP et sommes allés au Nevada Smith's pour voir le match, ça m'a fait du bien de revenir un peu aux sources :P, j'adore vraiment l'ambiance de ce bar même si j'ai pris un banc sur le pied :P. L'OM a gagné et a obtenu sa 2ème place qui lui permet de jouer la Ligue des Champions avec L'OL l'année prochaine, que de bonheur :D
Après le match, mon chéri et moi sommes allés voir Spiderman 3, j'en connais un qui était aux anges :P
Puis nous nous sommes rendus sur la 44ème dans notre restaurant favori: John's. Après une bonne pizza, nous avons repris le train pour Beacon.

Dimanche, nous avons pris la voiture et sommes descendus aux Woodbury Outlets (c louloute qui a conduit :D). J'ai pu offrir à mon chéri ses cadeaux d'anniversaire (c bientôt) et bien sûr m'acheter quelques fringues (comment aurai-je pu résister!).
Puis nous sommes partis en direction de Montclair pour rendre visite à la famille Laks. Les enfants ont bien poussés, ils sont toujours aussi beaux et un peu assagis. J'étais heureuse de les voir. Nous sommes tous allés chez Tony's (tradition oblige) puis mon ange et moi sommes repartis pour Beacon pour notre dernière nuit ensemble... déjà... le temps passe si vite quand on est ensemble...

Lundi, nous avons quitté l'appartement vers 14h, mon vol était à 17h25. Mon chéri m'a laissé aux douanes vers 16h30... notre weekend s'achevait déjà...
Bien sûr, mon vol a été retardé: décollage à 19h, heure à laquelle nous devions attérir à Toronto...ça arrive...

J'ai passé un merveilleux weekend, le temps n'était pas vraiment au rdv donc nous n'avons pas pu nous promener dans NY... nous avons aussi été très occupé...les photos de NY seront donc pour la prochaine fois... en Juin!!! :D
